  2. Women have the right but also the responsibility and duty to carry on in foot steps of those who have gone before and maintain those rights for those who follow after us.

    Inspiring, Tempie.

    • Hi Pam,

Thank you for saying what you did. YOU are a spokes woman and YOUR voice carries loud and clear to so very many. I agree wholeheartedly that women MUST live lives pleasing in the sight of God because you never know who is watching and will carry on based on what they see in you. To some your light may be the only light they see. It is your duty to maintain yourself in all ways and situations. Just as we each have taken from our past and built a beautiful today, someone will take from our todays and built better and brighter TOMORROWS…

      Love and Blessings,

  3. On another but relative note: I can’t help but be amazed by the fact that Republicans might endorse an African American presidential candidate. This gives me great hope that America truly, has turned the corner in race relations. What a wonderful event to witness in our lifetime! Praise to God and to dear brother, Martin Luther King through whom so many rights were won. I believe that women were also, encouraged through his work to pursue greater freedom.

    • Dear Pam,

Once again you have touched my heart! You are so very right! Now, looking from an International prospective, my pride for America and especially the ream of political opportunities for both African American Presidential Women and Men is growing nicely…

Yes, the Rev, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was instumental in bringing to light so very many aspects of equal, human and civil rights in his actions. I am so very proud in my lifetime to have been able to have heard him speak the night before he was killed with my parents in Memphis, but more importantly, I am glad to have been witness how very many lives he touched then and now.

I am and will probably always be a proud American Southerner supporting the Democratic Party no matter I live. As I was proud in 1996 living in Chicago, IL to be Public Relations Director for my African American Friend and presidential Candidate, Elvena Duffie and help her win the General Election when President Bill Clinton was in office… http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q301/tempied/elvena5.jpg and http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q301/tempied/meprforelvenapresidentcandidate.jpg
      and http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q301/tempied/elvena3.jpg
I was equally proud of another Southern Alabama Homegirl, Condoleezza Rice for serving as the 66th Secretary of State for the Republican Party just as Hilliary Clinton now serving in the Administration of the first African American Male US President Barack Obama…

(Of which , I never met them but belonged to the same church as both President and First Lady Michelle Obama in Chicago, IL. )

      Every women has the right…

You can see, I am so very proud and will say it again,
